Costco Dec. comps up 2%

ISSAQUAH, Wash. Costco Wholesale reported net sales of $7.4 billion for the month of December, a decrease of 2% from $7.55 billion in the same five-week period last year.

Comparable sales for the five-week period, excluding the negative impacts from gasoline deflation, rose 2% in the United States.
