Connolly to Retire From Wal-Mart

Bentonville, Ark., Wal-Mart Stores’ Robert Connolly, executive VP of marketing and consumer communications for Wal-Mart Stores Division, will retire at the end of the year, according to the company. Connolly joined Wal-Mart in 1989 as apparel merchandise manager. He left to work for Montgomery Ward in 1994 and returned to Wal-Mart in 1996.
