Chico's August Same-Store Sales Drop

Fort Myers, Fla., Chico's FAS Inc. said Wednesday its same-store sales dropped 9.3% in August. Chico's said for the four weeks ended Aug. 26, total sales grew 6.3% to $118.8 million from $111.8 million in the prior-year period.
