Breathe Right combination proves effective

Running in clean air is important in racing, and Breathe Right nasal strips help people breath clearly, so it only stands to reason that the clever folks involved with motorsports sponsorships would put the two together. They did just that this past weekend when Target-sponsored Indy car driver and noted Breathe-Right-nasal-strip-wearer Dario Franchitti won the Peak Antifreeze & Motor Oil 300 at Chicagoland Speedway in a car that featured a nasal strip on the vehicle’s nose in additional to other Breathe Right and Target branding.

“Putting on my nasal strip is part of my ritual when suiting up for every race as I need it to breathe better so I am ready to operate at 100%,” Franchitti stated.  “However, you don’t need to be a professional driver to understand the importance of being at your best. Breathe Right nasal strips can help you breathe better so you can get a good night’s sleep.”

Breathe Right may improve Franchitti’s respiratory function, but it was a late race gamble by team owner Chip Ganassi to forego a tire change that put the driver in the clean air upfront where he was able to stay for the race’s final laps and a victory.
