Borders and Waldenbooks gets spooky

ANN ARBOR, Mich. Borders and Waldenbooks will be hosting “Spooktacular” nationwide on Saturday, Oct. 24 beginning at 2 p.m. Everyone is encouraged to come in costume to the event, where there will be stories and sing-a-longs, games, arts and crafts activities and a Halloween costume parade. During the "Spooktacular," Borders Rewards members can take advantage of "Borders Bucks Bonus Days" and earn $5 in "Borders Bucks" for every $50 they spend. Normally, Rewards members must spend $150 to accrue $5 in "Borders Bucks," but during this special promotion, which runs in-store and online through Oct. 31, Rewards members can save these dollars to use on future purchases. The Borders Rewards program is free to join and in addition to earning "Borders Bucks," members also receive valuable Rewards offers and discounts weekly.
