Blockbuster names new chief marketer
DALLAS Blockbuster announced the appointment of Rebeca Johnson as chief marketing officer. In her new role, she will have responsibility for the company's overall branding and marketing efforts.
Before joining Blockbuster, Johnson was the chief marketing and global branding officer for Brinker International, where she was responsible for all brand development strategies, consumer insights, culinary development, marketing communications and innovation for Brinker's multi-billion-dollar portfolio of casual dining restaurant brands.
