Blockbuster to Lay Off up to 300 Employees

Dallas, The nation’s No. 1 video-rental chain, Blockbuster Inc., will cut up to 300 jobs at its corporate headquarters to offset increased marketing costs for its on-line rental service, the company said yesterday.
