Best Buy Canada launches online customer reviews

BURNABY, British Columbia Best Buy has launched an online customer review section in its Canadian division. Customers can now rate products and write reviews on www.BestBuy.ca, as well as find information about products on a new detail page. The site layout and design has also been improved for easier navigation and search.

"The feedback we received from Canadian consumers tells us they want to make informed decisions and comparison shop when purchasing electronics and entertainment products," said Kaisen Choi, senior merchant manager for BestBuy.ca. "Whether consumers make their purchase online at BestBuy.ca or in our stores, we want to make it easy for customers to get the information they need online, from Canadian sources, before making a decision."

Consumer feedback also will help Best Buy Canada with future buying and merchandising decisions. "We think the enhanced online site is a way to extend the brand experience of Best Buy Canada with our Canadian customers," said Choi. "Best Buy is a trusted source of information in consumer electronics and we want customers to have a means to actively participate in that experience."
