Barnes & Noble to offer free in-store WiFi
New York City Barnes & Noble said Tuesday it will offer AT&T WiFi free at all of its locations nationwide.
"This is a natural progression of our digital strategy to provide customers with more choices in how, when and where they want to read," said Steve Riggio, Barnes & Noble CEO, in a statement.
The company said the WiFi network has been available to AT&T customers at Barnes & Noble stores since 2005, but now access will be free and unlimited for everyone with a WiFi-enabled device.
Shoppers will also be able to receive personalized coupons and notices from Barnes & Noble on mobile devices.
