Barnes & Noble launches app for Apple

NEW YORK Barnes & Noble has launched the Barnes & Noble Bookstore application on the Apple App Store.

The Barnes & Noble Bookstore app also allows customers to browse betsellers, recommended lists, new releases and watch video interviews with authors. In addition, users can find information on book signings, readings and performances, as well as the location of the nearest Barnes & Noble store.

The Barnes & Noble Bookstore app is available for free from Apple’s App Store on iPhone and iPod touch or at www.itunes.com/appstore/ .
