BabyUniverse Changes Ticker Symbol

Denver, BabyUniverse on Thursday announced its new ticker symbol (Nasdaq: KIDS - News). The company will open trading under the new ticker on Monday, Nov. 5.

BabyUniverse just completed a merger with eToys Direct.

“The new ticker symbol is part of our planned name change to The Parent Company, which we expect to complete in 30 days,” said Michael J. Wagner, president and CEO of BabyUniverse. “The Parent Company name reinforces our commitment to families and the ticker symbol KIDS reflects what’s most important to all parents.”
