CINCINNATI To help relieve some of the burden at the pump, Kroger announced a number of fuel discount programs. According to the company, most of the fuel discount programs offered by Kroger and its family of stores reward customers with a minimum of 10 cents off per gallon of gas for every $100 they spend in a store.

The fuel discount programs are available and transferable at Kroger stores nationwide under the following banners: Kroger, Baker's, City Market, Dillons, Food 4 Less, Fred Meyer, Fry's, Gerbes, Hilander, Jay C, King Soopers, Owen's, Pay Less, QFC, Ralphs, Scott's, and Smith's stores.

Shoppers who use Kroger's 1-2-3 REWARDS MasterCard can earn discounts up to 15 cents off per gallon of gas in participating markets.

"We are excited to make it easy for our customers to earn and redeem fuel discounts throughout our family of stores as the summer travel season begins," said Rodney McMullen, vice chairman of Kroger. "Our customers asked us to expand this benefit and we have listened to them. This is another example of the many ways we at Kroger are investing in meaningful savings for our customers to help them stretch their household budgets farther -- particularly when they need it the most."
