Amazon.com to Open New Fulfillment Center

Seattle Amazon.com Inc. said Wednesday it plans to open a new order-fulfillment center in Goodyear, Ariz., during the third quarter to help meet growing customer demand, according to the Associated Press.

The center will create more than 600 full-time jobs and 700 temporary positions during the holidays this year, the report said.
