Amazon.com to offer exclusive MTV content

SCOTTS VALLEY, Calif. Amazon.com subsidiary CreateSpace announced that MTV Networks will use CreateSpace DVD on Demand technology to make popular MTV, Nickelodeon, Comedy Central and VH1 shows available on Amazon.com.

All of these newly released DVDs will initially be available exclusively on Amazon.com, and Aug. 25 marks the first time that these titles have been available on DVD.

“MTV Networks entertains a wide audience of loyal viewers with its programming, and the CreateSpace DVD on Demand business model is the perfect way for the individual networks to ensure that each unique fan base has access to their favorite shows,” said Dana LoPiccolo-Giles, co-founder and managing director of CreateSpace.
