New furniture store concept to debut

Loves Furniture & Mattresses has announced its first locations.

The retailer, which was established this year when it purchased the inventory and assets of 27 Art Van Furniture, Levin Furniture, and Wolf Furniture stores, will make its debut with two locations, in Pittsburgh and McMurray, Pa. Additional stores are due to open in the coming weeks, including in Mt. Pleasant, Pa. Loves said it is currently hiring to support 31 locations across Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Michigan.

Loves stores will carry an array of home furnishings, including mattresses, sofas, loveseats, dining furniture and more, with both name brands and exclusive ones and across all price points. A rotating selection of seasonal accessories will be featured in a designated “Loves Treasures” area.

Customers will have the option to choose how they want to shop – either independently, or with the assistance of employees who will provide support in-person or online. Loves will offer by-appointment shopping, promising “personalized service without pressure.”

"We created Loves because we think everyone deserves to love where they live," said CEO Matt Damiani (and a former Art Van executive). "We saw a better way to build a furniture buying experience – one that is personalized and designed to encourage exploration, imagination and discovery of the perfect pieces to help create memories at home that last."
