Meijer has opened three new supercenters across the Midwest.
The new stores, which average 155,000 sq. ft. each, are located in Seven Hills and Boardman, Ohio, and Westfield, Indiana. The locations feature the digital shopping options that proved popular with Meijer shoppers during the past 12 months, including Shop & Scan, which allows customers to scan barcodes via a mobile app and bag their items as they shop, has made checkout easier. The stores, which are currently operating under adjusted hours and maintaining coronavirus safety measures.
"These new stores reinforce our ongoing commitment to serving the needs of communities at a time when everyone is looking for a one-stop shopping experience," said Rick Keyes, president and CEO, Meijer, which operates more than 255 locations throughout Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky and Wisconsin.
