  • Leading toy company names new international president

    JAKKS Pacific Inc., appointed Carmine Russo president of its international division with responsibility for growing international sales and overseeing marketing, advertising, promotions and distribution operations across all product divisions.
     

  • Buffalo Wild Wings to open in Brick Township, N.J.

    Plymouth Meeting, Pa. -- Fameco Real Estate said that Buffalo Wild Wings has signed a 6,200-sq.-ft. lease at the Kennedy Mall in Brick Township, N.J.

    The AntSul Group, doing business as Buffalo Wild Wings in the region, currently has two locations open; one in North Brunswick and one in Bridgewater. The location at Kennedy Mall will be the group’s third and it is expected to open in late May.
     

  • Retired Kroger COO joins Acosta board

    JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Retired Kroger president and COO, Don McGeorge, has joined the board of directors of Acosta Sales & Marketing, a leading full-service sales and marketing agency in the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry.

    During his time at Kroger, McGeorge was responsible for all of the company’s supermarket divisions, advertising, customer relationship marketing, manufacturing, merchandising and procurement, pharmacy and retail operations until his retirement in 2009. 

  • Walgreens VP to replace Walmart SVP as NEW chair

    CHICAGO — Catherine Lindner, Walgreens VP retail marketing, has been named vice chair of the Network of Executive Women, the association announced Tuesday. Under the NEW's bylaws, Lindner will assume the post of board chair when the term of the current board chair — Walmart SVP home Michelle Gloeckler — expires in October 2012.

  • Jones Lang LaSalle expands retail services in Florida

    Miami -- Jones Lang LaSalle is enhancing the retail services it offers by adding boots on the ground in select local markets across the country, beginning with Florida. The firm will intensify its resources at the local level, leveraging its retail tenant solutions (RTS) capabilities – formerly known as Corporate Retail Solutions – to provide local market retail tenant representation services.

    Pleasanton, Calif. -- Ross Stores announced that Glen Boyer, previously VP real estate market research, has been named group VP real estate market research & property management.

  • Levin names acquisitions and business development executive

    North Plainfield, N.J. -- Levin Management announced that it has named Joe Lowry as director of acquisitions and business development for the company.

    The 25-year commercial real estate industry veteran joined Levin in 2009 as director of acquisitions. His added responsibilities reflect the firm’s ongoing focus on adding new clients from among institutions, fund managers and private owners it does not already serve.
