  • Northgate González Markets purchases property for store relocation

    Newport Beach, Calif. -- X Team International announced that partner Strategic Retail Advisors negotiated the purchase of a 104,423-sq.-ft. property at La Habra Towne Centre located in La Habra, California, on behalf of Northgate Gonzalez Markets.

    La Habra Town Centre is situated on 9.2 acres and is currently home to CVS, Petco and Jack in the Box. Nelson Wheeler and Blaine Bush of SRA represented Northgate Gonzalez Markets. Jones Lang LaSalle represented the seller.

    Publix Super Markets is getting a new CEO after Ed Crenshaw announced his retirement on Wednesday.

    The company announced that Crenshaw will step down effective April 30. Upon Crenshaw’s retirement, current company President Todd Jones will become president and CEO.

    Mahopac, N.Y. -- Heidenberg Properties announced The Stop & Shop Supermarket Company has executed a lease to occupy 54,000 sq. ft. at Lake Plaza Shopping Center in Mahopac, New York.

    The new Stop & Shop will be built from the ground up, replacing the existing 24,000 sq. ft. Key Food and the 7,800 sq. ft. CVS. This redevelopment will be more than 25,000 sq. ft. larger than the two existing stores, expanding Lake Plaza Shopping Center from 141,000 to over 166,000 sq. ft.
