West Palm Beach, Fla. -- Wing chain Hurricane Grill & Wings has signed five multi-unit development agreements, representing 22 new locations slated to open in 2014-2015.

The Florida-based franchised brand opened two locations in early 2014, with plans for a total of 14 new units by the end of this year.

Mississauga, Canada - Federal Express Canada Ltd. has reached an agreement with Home Hardware Stores Ltd. that allows individual dealer-owners the ability to house full-service FedEx Authorized ShipCenters within their stores. The FedEx Authorized ShipCenters will be rolled out across Canada in a series of implementation waves throughout the year.

Irving, Texas — Yogurtland has signed a lease for 1,242 sq. ft. at Mansfield Crossing in Mansfield, Texas.

WindStar Properties represented the landlord, Mansfield Matlock Partners, in the transaction.  Transwestern Retail represented Yogurtland.

Cincinnati -- The Kroger Co. said that its Fry's Marketplace store in Phoenix marks the 500th Kroger location to earn the Energy Star designation from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and U.S. Department of Energy.

The recent announcement from Coldwater Creek that the women’s apparel brand will seek Chapter 11 protection and plans to start liquidating its inventory didn’t exactly come as a surprise. Atlanta - Arby's Restaurant Group Inc. (ARG), franchisor of Arby’s, has signed development agreements with new and existing franchisees. ARG recently sold 14 company-operated restaurants in Tampa, Fla., to Mosaic Investments Inc., a fully integrated investment firm based in Atlanta. In addition to remodeling existing locations slated to commence at the end of 2014, Mosaic has committed to build 13 new Arby's restaurants in the Tampa area during the next nine years.

Ewing, N.J. — Giant Wine & Liquor, doing business as Buy Rite Liquor, has leased 6,000 sq. ft. at the 360,000-sq.-ft. Capitol Plaza in Ewing, N.J. Levin Management, the exclusive leasing and managing agent for the center negotiated the long-term lease.
