Cary, N.C. -- The Pantry said Monday that CEO Terrance M. Marks plans to resign within two months.

In a statement, Marks said that his decision was driven by personal reasons, and that he had accepted "an opportunity that will enable me to return to my home and family in Atlanta."

Simpsonville, S.C. -- Centro Properties Group US announced two retailers will be joining Fairview Corners, located in Simpsonville, S.C.
 
Wild Oats Brewery will occupy a 4,556-sq.-ft. space; Upstate Gold Exchange will occupy a 1,500-sq.-ft. space.
 
Centro Properties Group, based in New York City, is the owner of Fairview Corners.
 

Ankeny, Iowa -- Casey’s General Stores and Kum & Go announced that they have signed a definitive purchase agreement for Casey’s to acquire 22 convenience stores from Kum & Go.

The stores, all of which are located in Iowan, will be immediately rebranded to Casey’s once the transaction is completed.

DENVER, Colo. and MONTREAL — Molson Coors Brewing Company has announced that Andrew Molson, the current vice chairman of the Molson Coors board of directors assumed the role of chairman, and Pete Coors, current chairman, assumed the role of vice chairman, effective May 26. 

Newport Beach, Calif. -- JustEnough Software Corp., a provider of demand management solutions, announced that ABC Fine Wine & Spirits has successfully gone live with its allocation and replenishment solutions. The technologies were selected to replace the retailer’s existing allocation system.

SAN FRANCISCO — A new bill introduced by a California assemblywoman aims to curb the sale of alcohol to minors by prohibiting sales at self-service checkouts.

Assembly Bill 183, introduced last month by Fiona Ma, D-San Francisco and San Mateo Counties, was passed by the assembly committee. Assemblywoman Ma said that self-service checkouts are susceptible to technological failures, allowing minors to purchase alcohol.

St. Paul, Minn. -- A partnership between St. Paul, Minn.-based Paster Enterprises and Chicago-based Shiner Capital Partners announced the purchase of Cahill Plaza, located in Inver Grove Heights, Minn.

Cahill Plaza is a 69,000-sq.-ft. shopping center that is anchored by a 52,017-sq.-ft. Cub Foods and a 6,165-sq.-ft. MGM Liquor. Additional tenants include Great Clips, RR Cleaners, C & A Nails, Edward Jones and Papa Johns.

Westchester, Ill. -- Tri-Land Properties announced that Dr. Holly Xu, Fashionista Exchange, Jimmy John’s, Lee Lee Nails, Party Time Liquor and Pride Cleaners have joined the company’s projects throughout Indiana and Kansas City.

Lee Lee Nails opened a 1,200-sq.-ft. salon at Century Plaza, a 300,592-sq.-ft. community center in Merrillville, Ind.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Brown-Forman announced today the appointment of Lawson Whiting as managing director Western Europe, based in London, effective May 1.

Greenwood Springs, Ind. -- Jacksonville, Fla.-based Regency Centers said it has leased retail space in Greenwood Springs, Ind., to two new tenants at Greenwood Springs shopping center.

Cannoli Queen has leased 1,400 sq. ft. of restaurant space and Superior Discount Liquors has leased 2,800 sq. ft. of retail space. The businesses are slated to open in the spring.

The 292,827-sq.-ft. shopping center is anchored by Walmart and Gander Mountain alongside national retailers such as Sport Clips and Buffalo Wild Wings.
