  • Tiffany launches revamped e-commerce site

    Tiffany & Co. is launching its enhanced Tiffany.com e-commerce site, which includes improved zoom capabilities and several expanded sections.
     
    Blue Book, the company’s collection of couture jewels, is showcased with scenes from the Tiffany Workshop where they are created, as well as an expanded engagement section with a gemologist’s video and review of Tiffany’s quality standards.

  • Sequential Brands expands Caribbean Joe brand

    Sequential Brands Group has entered into five new license agreements to expand the Caribbean Joe brand and has extended the terms of its agreements with three current partners. With five new partnerships, this brings the total list of Caribbean Joe licensees to 25.
     

  • Saks Fifth Avenue continues enhancing e-commerce site

    Saks Fifth Avenue is leveraging Stylewhile’s iPad App so the retailer can offer online shoppers the opportunity of fitting clothing to their specific body type before making a purchase.
     
    Stylewhile is capable of aggregating product imagery from online stores and fitting them on a model of a number of body types. Users can not only virtually try on clothes, but also use the App to select various items from retailers to create complete ensembles.

    Montreal - Canadian jewelry retailer Maison Birks is opening its first store in China, located at Xanadu Plaza in the Central Business District of Beijing, in early 2014.

  • Sawgrass Mills signs 30 new retailers this year

    Sunrise, Fla. — So far this year, 30 new retailers have signed into Sawgrass Mills in Sunrise, Fla.

    The Colonnade Outlets at Sawgrass Mills, the open-air promenade part of the property recently added a number of new-to-South Florida retailers, including Diane von Furstenberg, Gucci, Versace, Robert Graham, Ippolita, Wolford, Jimmy Choo, Frette, Roberto Cavalli and others.

  • JLL: Metro Seattle job market drives mixed-use sale

    Seattle — Jones Lang LaSalle’s Capital Markets group has announced the sale of Slater 116, a mixed-use property in Kirkland, a Seattle suburb. The property features 108 apartments and more than 10,000 sq. ft. of ground floor retail space. Essex Property Trust bought the recently completed property from Mainstreet Property Group for $29.6 million.

  • Consolo and Aquino Bring Intimacy to Flatiron

    New York — INTIMACY (bra fit stylists) has opened a lingerie shop at 104 Fifth Avenue in the New York City’s Flatiron retail district. Faith Hope Consolo Chairman, and Joseph A. Aquino, executive VP of Douglas Elliman’s Retail Group, represented the landlord in the transaction. Stacey Robins Realty represented INTIMACY.

    Other national and international brands with stores in the area include Aldo, Anthropologie, Banana Republic, Coach, J.Crew, Kenneth Cole and 7 for all mankind.

     

  • Ricky’s NYC tests new markets with Halloween pop-ups

    New York — Ricky’s Halloween, backed by Ricky’s NYC, a 23-year-old brand of ultra-hip beauty shops, has leased new pop-up locations for its Halloween retail stores in the Financial District and West Chelsea. The Winick Realty Group represented Ricky’s in those transactions.

    Those two leases bring Ricky’s Halloween pop-up locations — which also merchandise products from its year-round stores — to 17.

  • Stuart Weitzman launching online pop-up shop on Gilt

    New York -- Upscale footwear brand Stuart Weitzman is partnering with the online shopping destination, Gilt, to launch a digital pop-up shop, created exclusively by Gilt.

    The online pop-up will celebrate the twentieth anniversary of Stuart Weitzman’s iconic, over-the-knee 5050 boot and feature a 20-piece Anniversary Collection, which includes ten limited-edition styles.

    New York -- Under Armour has opened a store at the Jing An Kerry Centre in Shanghai, China. The environment puts storytelling at the forefront through a multi-dimensional short film that immerses visitors in the brand's world of making athletes better through passion and innovation.
