    Kay Jewelers is looking to leverage social media and gamification to better engage with shoppers this holiday season.

    From now through Dec. 20, visitors to Kay Jewelers' social media channels will be encouraged to participate in an interactive holiday-themed memory match game for a chance to win jewelry prizes. Fans can enter the Merry Match sweepstakes for a chance to win a prize from the featured daily collection by visiting KayMerryMatch.com, registering and playing the game. One winner will be selected each day and will receive a piece of jewelry.

    Upper Fifth Avenue, between 49th and 60th streets, is the most expensive retail corridor in the world, with rents rising 3.6% to $3,500 per square foot through the first half of this year, according to an annual report from Cushman & Wakefield.     Fifth Avenue rent was nearly double that of the second priciest corridor, Causeway Bay in Hong Kong, at $2,399 per square foot.

    Germantown, Tenn. -- Trademark Property Co. announced Lily Rain will open a 1,600 sq. ft. store at Saddle Creek, in Germantown, Tennessee. The store will be Lily Rain’s first Tennessee location and will open in spring 2016 next to Michael Kors.

    The world's largest retailer of diamond jewelry announced that Uta Werner has joined the company as Signet chief strategy officer. Werner will be responsible for strategy development and execution and will be focused on the identification of growth opportunities, strategic planning and mergers and acquisitions.
