Fort Worth, Texas – Tony Risch, executive VP of RadioShack Corp., has resigned to pursue other unspecified interests. The resignation is effective April 18, and his duties will be temporarily taken over by other executives.

Risch joined the company in December 2012. RadioShack is currently in the process of closing 1,000 stores. He previously spent 19 years at Target Corp. No timetable has been given to hire a permanent replacement.

Troy Risch resigned his position EVP of store operations at RadioShack the company disclosed in a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission on Tuesday.

Old Bridge, N.J. — Retail leasing specialists R.J. Brunelli & Co. has announced the promotion of Nick DeLuca to sales associate.

Cincinnati -- Associates working at Kroger stores in the Atlanta metro and surrounding area have ratified new labor agreements with UFCW Local 1996. The contracts cover 23,598 associates working in 163 stores in the Atlanta area and 12 in Savannah.

Greenwich, Conn. — Newmark Grubb Knight Frank Retail Services has appointed Jessica Curtis as senior managing director in the Greenwich, Conn., office. Curtis will represent national clients in their expansion plans and work with local entrepreneurial retailers and restaurants ready to grow beyond their current locations.

Hoffman Estates, Ill. -- The Michigan Small Business Development Center is honoring a Sears Appliance & Hardware store located in Big Rapids, Mich., with its 2013 Best Small Business Award for creating jobs, increasing sales and improving business strategy. The retailer was one of a dozen stores chosen from more than 5,500 small businesses throughout the state that the Michigan Small Business Development Center provided confidential counseling and training to in 2013.

Dallas - SRS Real Estate Partners welcomes T.J. Powell as first VP in the Austin office. He will focus on tenant and landlord representation.

Powell has four years of commercial real estate experience and joins SRS from Retail Solutions, where he focused on third-party project leasing and tenant representation.

Nashville, Tenn. - Cybera Inc., has hired Jeremy Landa as it new senior VP of finance Jeremy Landa. Landa will be part of Cybera’s executive team, responsible for providing strategic financial leadership to support the company’s growth and expansion.

Prior to joining Cybera, Landa served as CFO of Simplex Healthcare. During his career, Landa also oversaw the corporate strategic planning process for Gaylord Entertainment.
