  • Dollar Zone, Leslie’s Swimming Pool Supplies to open at Marketplace at Manville

    Manville, N.J. -- Purchase, N.Y.-based National Realty & Development Corp. said that Dollar Zone has leased 15,000 sq. ft. and Leslie’s Swimming Pool Supplies has leased 2,970 sq. ft. at Marketplace at Manville, located in Manville, N.J.

    Both retailers are slated to open this spring.

    Walmart, A&P Supermarket and Reading Cinema anchor the 275,354-sq.-ft. center, which is now 100% leased.

  • Leadership survey: Walmart and McDonald's in, Zappos and Ikea out

    Philadelphia -- A survey released Tuesday by management consultancy Hay Group, ranking the 20 best companies for in terms of leadership, said that both Walmart and McDonald’s made the sixth annual list, but incumbents Zappos and Ikea dropped out of the rankings.

  • Cordish Cos. to develop upscale outlet center in Nebraska

    La Vista, Neb. -- Baltimore-based The Cordish Cos. said Monday that it will develop an upscale outlet center and entertainment district in La Vista’s Southport West Development. The burgeoning Omaha suburb is already home to a Cabela’s, La Vista Conference Center and several hotels.

  • Subway to open at Twin Oaks Shopping Center

    Aguora Hills, Calif. -- Jacksonville, Fla.-based Regency Centers said it has leased restaurant space at Twin Oaks Shopping Center, located in Aguora Hills, Calif., to Subway.

    Subway has leased 1,175 sq. ft., bringing the center to 94% leased. The tenant is slated to open in April.

  • Bakehouse to open in Meatpacking District

    New York City -- TF Cornerstone said it has signed a 10-year, approximately 3,500-sq.-ft. lease with Bakehouse at 113 Horatio Street, in the Meatpacking District of New York City.

    In addition to the ground floor, the bakery will occupy approximately 3,500 sq. ft. of the building’s basement and will primarily be wholesaling cakes and pastries to the hotel and restaurant industry. The space will also be built out to accommodate a café/bakery and a French bistro-style restaurant which is anticipated to open this spring.

  • TCBY in long-term deal with Lone Star Yogurt to open 200 stores

    Salt Lake City -- On the heels of a new self-serve prototype, TCBY, announced an agreement with Lone Star Yogurt to open 200 stores over the next 10 years with area developer.

    Lone Star Yogurt plans to open its first TCBY self-serve store in January in Lone Star’s hometown of Tyler, Texas. It has committed to open another 24 TCBY self-serve stores in East Texas, Dallas, Ft. Worth and Houston in the next 18 months.

  • Brother Jimmy’s BBQ to open corporate offices in Meatpacking District

    New York City -- TF Cornerstone announced that it has inked a 10-year lease for approximately 3,500 sq. ft. with Brother Jimmy’s BBQ.

    The company will be headquartered at 521 West Street at 95 Horatio Street, using the space to house the company’s corporate offices, commissary and catering facility.

  • Emagine Theatres opens at Hampton Village Centre

    Rochester Hills, Mich. -- Emagine Theatres has opened a 47,884-sq.-ft. location at Hampton Village Centre, in Rochester Hills, Mich.

    The center is owned by Centro Properties Group, based in New York City.
