  • Simon reopens Shops at Nanuet in N.Y.

    Indianapolis — Simon Property Group has announced the grand re-opening of the redeveloped The Shops at Nanuet, a 750,000-sq.-ft. open-air main street center in Rockland County, N.Y.

    With the re-opening, three new anchors are making a debut: Fairway Market, open now, Regal Cinemas, opening in November, and 24-Hour Fitness, opening in December. They will join existing anchors Macy’s and Sears at the property.

  • CBRE: U.S. CRE continued to recover during Q3

    Los Angeles — The U.S. commercial real estate market continued a slow, but steady, recovery in the third quarter of 2013, according to the latest analysis from CBRE Group.

    In the quarter, the retail availability rate declined 10 basis points to 12.2% and had fallen 70 basis points from one year ago.

  • Arby’s supports national loyalty campaign with PunchTab

    Sandy Springs, Ga. - When Arby’s recently launched a new brisket sandwich menu item, the retailer chose PunchTab to help build a rewards campaign called “The League of Brisket.” The campaign encourages customers to join the league and complete challenges to earn free food and gear, as well as an entry for a chance to win the grand prize of pro football tickets and “the ultimate tailgate party.”

  • Massage Envy Spa opens in 48th state: Montana

    Scottsdale, Ariz. — With the opening of the first Montana franchise location, Massage Envy Spa now operates in 48 states. Located in Missoula, the new spa is one of the first to introduce the brand’s latest clinic design elements.

    With more than 900 franchise locations operating in 48 states, Massage Envy is the largest system of franchised massage clinics in the U.S.

     

  • Trademark hires new VP of leasing

    Fort Worth, Texas — Trademark Property Co. has announced the appointment of Daniel Goldware as VP of leasing. Goldware will initially work on Waterside, Trademark’s new 63-acre master planned, mixed-use development under construction in Fort Worth, as well as Victory Park in downtown Dallas.

    Goldware comes to Trademark from Weingarten Realty Investors where he served as a leasing executive in both Dallas and Houston for the past seven years.

     

  • New dining and retail leases for Miracle Mile Shops

    Las Vegas — Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood resort & Casino has announced the opening of four new restaurants and retailers.

    Meatball Spot will bring its Italian cuisine to Miracle Mile Shops this winter. Ketchup Premium Burger Bar will open its doors in November. Tervis will follow in December. Shoe Palace plans to open in February 2014.

    Miracle Mile Shops is a 1.2 mile retail/entertainment complex at the heart of the Las Vegas Strip. It features 170 specialty stores, 15 restaurants and live entertainment venues.

  • Sears to showcase outdoor living line at New York City Wine & Food Festival

    New York -- Sears and its Shop Your Way loyalty program are prepared to make a splash in New York next week by playing a major role in the city’s Food Network New York City Wine & Food Festival presented by Food & Wine.

    New York’s premier culinary event will be held Oct. 18 to Oct. 20 and Sears and Shop Your Way are expanding their presence this year and plan to showcase stylish and affordable lines of patio furniture, Kenmore grills and indoor and outdoor entertainment with Sears designer and TV personality Ty Pennington.

  • Tysons Corner refinances with $850 million loan

    Milwaukee — Northwestern Mutual, Prudential Mortgage Capital Company and TIAA-CREF have announced that each has provided $283.3 million for a total of $850 million to refinance Tysons Corner Center, the 1.9-million sq.-ft. super regional mall in Tysons Corner, Va., owned by the Macerich Company.
