    Washington, D.C. – Law firm Seyfarth Shaw LLP has launched a blog about the Americans With Disabilities Act. The blog, called the ADA Title III News & Insights Blog (Adatitleiii.com), is designed as an accessibility law resource for any business that opens its doors to the public.

  • Starbucks buys San Francisco bakery chain; will expand format across U.S.

    Seattle -- Starbucks Coffee Co. is looking to expand its food business. The chain has entered into an agreement to acquire San Francisco-based Bay Bread and its La Boulange bakery brand, as well as to hire its well-known French baker, Pascal Rigo. The cash deal is valued at $100 million.

  • Pan-Oston Receives 2011 Domino’s Pizza Teamwork Award

    Bowling Green, Ky. -- Pan-Oston was awarded the Domino’s Pizza Teamwork Award for 2011 at its annual Supplier Summit. The award was in recognition of Pan-Oston’s  teamwork and execution of the New Image Counters, which the supplier engineered, manufactured and delivered within 90 days to six stores.

    This is the second award given to Pan-Oston by Domino’s Pizza, the first award being the prestigious Partner Award for 2007.

  • Bed Bath & Beyond buys Linen Holdings in all cash-transaction

    Union, N.J. -- Bed Bath & Beyond Inc. bought textile distributor Linen Holdings LLC in an all-cash transaction for approximately $105 million to boost its sourcing capabilities and gain access to new customers.

    Based in Gibbsboro, N.J., Linen Holdings is a privately held distributor of bath, bed and table linens and other textile products to customers in the hospitality, cruise line, food service, health care and other industries.

  • Bed, Bath & Beyond buys Linen Holdings

    UNION, N.J. — Bed Bath & Beyond has expanded its business with the all cash acquisition of Linen Holdings, LLC for approximately $105 million.  Based in Gibbsboro, New Jersey, Linen Holdings LLC is a privately-held, value-added distributor of bath, bed and table linens, other textile products and amenities to customers in the hospitality, cruise line, food service, health care and other industries.

  • Cuhaci & Peterson selected to design four Aldi Supermarkets

    Orlando, Fla. -- Cuhaci & Peterson Architects said Wednesday it has been awarded a contract to design four Aldi Supermarkets in located in North and South Carolina and Florida.

    Each of the supermarket facilities will total 18,000 sq. ft. of retail space and are located in Salisbury and Indian Trails, N.C., in Columbia, S.C., and in southwest Orlando, Fla., near Disney World.

     

  • Claim Jumper joins Opry Mills outlet center

    Nashville, Tenn. -- Tennessee’s largest outlet and value retail center, Opry Mills, has added a Claim Jumper restaurant to its dining options.

    The new restaurant, which is making its market debut, recently opened at Entry 7 near the entertainment stage and joins other eateries such as Romano’s Macaroni Grill, Dave & Buster’s, Chuy’s, Rainforest Café, Aquarium Restaurant and a nine-unit food court.
     

  • Caribou Coffee opens 100th international location, plans to ramp up store count

    Minneapolis -- Caribou Coffee Co. said Wednesday it has opened its 100th international operating location, located in Istanbul, Turkey. The new store, which opened May 10, is in partnership with master franchisee Al Sayer Group and Turkey's Yildiz Holding, and is Caribou's sixth store in Turkey.

    Al Sayer Group currently operates 89 of Caribou's 100 international locations in Turkey, Kuwait, United Arab Emirates, Lebanon, Bahrain, Jordan, Oman and Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
