Centennial's MainPlace Mall in Santa Ana offers MyPerks to shoppers.

MainPlace Mall will handle social distancing by dispatching loyal customers to the stores they like for the discounts they want.

The million-sq.-ft. super regional mall located minutes from Disneyland Resort and John Wayne Airport in Santa Ana, Calif., has introduced MyPerks, an app that delivers limited-time offers, discounts, and VIP access to special events in the MyPerks Lounge on the lower level. The first app-driven promotion will run over the next 10 days with tenants including G By Guess, Hallmark, and Candeeland Kids.

“We’re making it easy for our customers to take advantage of every offer, discount, and VIP perk our loyalty program has to offer,” said MainPlace marketing director Ashley Kravitz. “And the best part is, it’s free of charge.”

Earlier this month MainPlace’s owner, Centennial, introduced ShopNow!, a cross-portfolio program that allows people to shop its seven regional and super-regional malls the same way they shop Amazon. Consumers can shop entire malls on their websites, order and purchase products online, and then have them delivered or pick them up at the mall curb-side or in-store.
