Macy’s calls for brand ambassadors

Anyone with dreams of becoming a style influencer can take a shot at joining the Macy’s Style Crew.

Launched with the department store chain’s employees in 2017, Style Crew is now being opened to the public across the country. The online program is designed to empower style influencers to become brand ambassadors by creating and sharing shoppable videos and images on personalized video storefronts on the Macy’s e-commerce site and across social media.

The Style Crew has played an integral role in Macy’s promotions such as its spring 2019 campaign, “Find More.” Customers could consult with Style Crew members in store, and also view Style Crew suggestions on Instagram the Macy’s website, and social media channels of individual Style Crew members.

As ambassadors share content, customers can click to purchase products directly from their pages. Style Crew member leverage the TVPage Storefront app to upload videos, match products, and post to their social channels.

“We are thrilled to expand Macy’s Style Crew to the broader fashion and beauty community,” said Marc Mastronardi, chief stores officer at Macy’s. “Expanding our marquee e-commerce program will enable passionate content creators to grow their personal brands while providing Macy’s shoppers with a highly engaging online experience.”
