Bed Bath & Beyond Inc. has named a retail veteran as its next president.

Amy Sullivan has been tapped to lead the owner of Bed Bath & Beyond, Overstock, Buy Buy Baby, Kirkland’s, and a blockchain asset portfolio. In the role, she will oversee Bed Bath & Beyond’s business across all pillars, with responsibility for aligning brand, product and customer experience across the platform while advancing the company's “Everything Home” strategy.

Sullivan will replace Adrianne Lee, who will join Sally Beauty to become CFO, effective April 28. Lee joined Bed Bath & Beyond as CFO in 2020. She later was named chief administrative officer in 2024, and president in 2025.

Sullivan most recently served as CEO of The Brand House Collective (formerly Kirkland’s Home), which was recently acquired by Bed Bath & Beyond. Prior to its rebrand, Sullivan served in multiple roles in Kirkland’s C-suite, including CEO, chief operating officer, chief revenue officer and chief merchandising officer. She joined the company in 2012.

“Amy is a decisive leader with a merchant’s mindset and an operator’s discipline,” said Marcus Lemonis, executive chairman and CEO of Bed Bath & Beyond. “As we outlined in our most recent shareholder letter, our priority is clear: strengthen the foundation, simplify the business, and execute with consistency. Amy is able to do that. She will be instrumental in aligning our brands and teams to deliver sustainable, profitable growth.”

The leadership move follows Bed Bath & Beyond’s planned acquisition of home goods and storage products retailer The Container Store for $150 million in stock and convertible notes. The acquisition includes The Container Store’s Sweden-based Elfa customizable closet systems, shelving solutions, and space optimization products brand, as well as its Chicago-based custom closet and organizer provider Closet Works subsidiary.

In January, Lemonis outlined a three-part strategy to transform Bed Bath & Beyond Inc. into an “Everything Home Company.”

“We believe we have one of the most powerful portfolios in the home – five brands, each earning a distinct place in the customer’s life,” said Sullivan. “My job is to bring them together with clarity and discipline, and make sure our execution matches the ambition. That’s how we win: great brands, strong execution and a model that makes us part of everyday life.”
