Bed Bath & Beyond CFO to join Sally Beauty C-suite

Sally Beauty is set to make a C-suite change later this month.

The omnichannel hair color retailer has appointed Adrianne Lee as senior VP and chief financial officer, effective April 28. Lee will succeed Marlo Cormier, who will be leaving Sally Beauty, effective April 11, to pursue other opportunities. Cormier has held the position since November of 2020.

Lee most recently served as the president and CFO of Bed Bath and Beyond, joining the retailer as CFO in 2020. She later was named chief administrative officer in 2024, and president in 2025.

“Adrianne brings deep financial expertise across retail and other consumer-facing industries as well as a strong strategic mindset,” said Denise Paulonis, president and CEO of Sally Beauty. “Her business acumen makes her a strong addition to our senior leadership team, and her proven talent development capability will be a great asset as she leads our finance function. On behalf of the board and executive team, I want to thank Marlo for her service and her many positive contributions to the company over the past six years.”

Prior to Bed Bath & Beyond, Lee held senior executive roles at The Hertz Corporation from 2014 to 2020, including senior VP & CFO. Earlier in her career, she held finance-focused roles at Best Buy Co., Inc., PepsiAmericas, Inc., Allianz Life and Price Waterhouse Coopers.

Founded in 1964, Denton, Texas-based Sally Beauty operates more than 3,700 stores worldwide, and offers up to 8,000 professional beauty products for hair, skin and nails.
