Kohl’s is now offering a variety of in-store pick-up options for digital orders — in as little as one hour.
The department store retailer is providing n-store pick-up of online and mobile orders via buy-online-pick-up-in-store (BOPIS) and drive-up services. The orders can be fulfilled the same day they are purchased, with most ready within one hour, according to Kohl’s.
Once customers have received a pick-up email saying their order is ready, they can drive to the store, pull up to one of the designated spots and have their email ready to display. (Kohl’s was recently named as the best retailer for having holiday items in-stock and ready for in-store pickup in a consumer survey conducted by Ipsos.)
For drive-up orders, customers can park in one of the designated drive-up stalls and press the “I’m here” button in their email or pickup pass. A store associate will bring their order out, verify it through their car window, and place it in the customer’s back seat or trunk. Customers are not asked to get out of their car.
For in-store pick-up orders, customers can park in one of the designated in-store pickup stalls, go into the store and find the customer service counter. Kohl’s has implemented a number of in-store health and safety measures, including required face coverings for customers and associates, social distancing markers and signage throughout the store, protective barriers at all registers and checkout lanes cleaned after every use, and touchless payment made available with Kohl’s Pay on the Kohl’s app.
According to Kohl’s 80% of Americans live within 15 miles of a Kohl’s store. The retailer offers tens of thousands of items available for store pickup.
