Help has arrived for subway riders in New York City who accidentally leave their masks or hand sanitizers at home.
Automated retail company Swyft, in partnership with New York City’s MTA, the largest public transit authority in the U.S., announced the launch of Simply PPE. The kiosks are located in 10 select subway stations in the city, including the high-traffic 42nd & 8th St. Port Authority Station, 34th and Herald Square Station, Atlantic Ave Barclays Center, and Roosevelt Ave & 74th St. Station.

The kiosks sell a curated assortment of personal protective equipment designed to protect against the spread of COVID-19, including masks, hand sanitizer, gloves, kits and more, from a range of companies. Swyft said the Simply PPE stores will soon be available in malls, airports, resorts, movie theaters, transit locations, residential properties, and convention centers.
"For years Swyft and our subsidiary ZoomSystems have grown in domestic and international markets providing robotic technologies to brands and retailers such as Best Buy, CVS and Proactiv," said Gower Smith, CEO of Swyft, a technology and services company. “We are thrilled to partner with the MTA for this initiative and provide much-needed PPE products as they ride the MTA.”
