Jonathan Adler is celebrating its 30th anniversary with the opening of a new showplace in London.

The acclaimed potter and interior designer has opened a 2,500-sq.-ft. store in the city’s South Kensington neighborhood. The store replaces a smaller one Jonathan Adler, which also has a robust presence in major U.K. retailers, operated in London.

Skylights and concrete floors provide a loft-like backdrop for the new space, which is filled with the brand’s latest collections of furniture, décor, pottery and more.

The store features “luxe and liveable” room sets that display everything needed to give a home a glamorous lift. The brand’s iconic pottery is displayed on illuminated, velvet-lined shelves, while a gift cube is dedicated to an evolving assortment of the designer’s “go-to” items. A backgammon dresser houses game nights must-haves in pull-out drawers.

The London outpost also offers complementary in-home design consultations. A bespoke upholstery program allows customers to dress furniture in a fabric of their choice.

In June 2022, Jonathan Adler opened a three-story hybrid space that serves as a retail flagship/pottery studio/headquarters in downtown Manhattan.

Jonathan Adler launched his namesake brand after leaving his day job to pursue his first love: pottery. In 1993, Barneys New York bought his collection of pots, and five years later, he opened his first store in Soho.

Today, Jonathan Adler is a design company with stores worldwide, a thriving e-commerce site, a full slate of residential and commercial projects, and a wholesale business with more than 1,000 points of distribution globally.
