JD Sports Canada pursues digital transformation

JD Sports is rolling out new cloud-based enterprise solutions.

The Canadian division of a global British athletic retailer is deploying a variety of cloud-based enterprise solutions.

JD Sports Canada is implementing the mobile-enabled, cloud-based Retail Management Suite from Jesta I.S. The platform includes omnichannel, POS, merchandising, warehouse management, analytics, and loss prevention solutions.

Specific capabilities JD Sports Canada is enabling with its new enterprise platform include endless aisle assortment that optimizes fulfillment from a warehouse, store, marketplace or vendor.

The retailer is also enhancing product master, forecasting, planning, allocation and replenishment functions, and an intelligent order orchestration system with real-time inventory and order visibility communicates with order capture and fulfillment about changes pre/post shipment.

In addition, JD Sports Canada uses an intelligent order management system to strategically routes cross-channel orders according to pre-defined enterprise rules and optimal supply source. Mobile solutions provide features for pop-up stores to sell and capture customer profiles anywhere, and locate products anywhere to address real-time stock requests.

A white-labeled app connects to POS, order management and CRM solutions in order to give customers a 360-degree view of their interactions across channels.
