Jack in the Box to bring five locations to Detroit market
Jack in the Box is headed to the Motor City.
After announcing its planned entrance into Michigan in February, the quick-serve chain has announced a new franchise deal that will bring five stores to the metro Detroit area. Jack in the Box had previously announced a five-unit deal that would bring its restaurants to the Grand Rapids area on the state’s west side. Now, it will enter Michigan’s largest market.

The new locations in Detroit will offer dine-in, drive-thru and mobile ordering options. The planned expansion comes on the heels of Jack in the Box planning to grow its footprint in nearby Chicago, adding a 12-unit franchise deal to its Windy City plans after previously announcing eight company-operated units in development.

Other expansion announcements made by Jack in the Box this year include approximately 25 new locations in Florida and its first stores in Georgia.

Jack in the Box Inc. operates and franchises approximately 2,200 Jack in the Box restaurants across 22 states, and 600 Del Taco restaurants across 16 states. Jack in the Box is known for its menu of burgers, tacos, all-day breakfast and other late-night snacking options.
