Jack in the Box to open first stores in Georgia
Jack in the Box is expanding its presence in the South by entering a new state.
A week after announcing it would expand with 15 new Florida restaurants in Orlando and Tallahassee, the quick-serve burger chain has announced a new agreement to open 15 locations in Georgia. The new sites have not been selected, according to Jack in the Box, but they will be strategically located across the state with a focus on the growing markets of Macon, Augusta and Savannah.
Georgia will be the 23rd state that Jack in the Box operates in. The announcement follows recent openings and development agreements for the chain in areas throughout Utah, Kentucky, Arkansas, Montana and Wyoming. In 2023, Jack in the Box signed 123 new restaurant agreements.

Jack in the Box is known for its customer favorites like burgers, tacos, chicken sandwiches, milkshakes, breakfast and late-night snacking options.
San Diego-based Jack in the Box Inc. operates and franchises approximately 2,200 Jack in the Box restaurants across 22 states, and 600 Del Taco restaurants across 16 states.
