At Home opening three stores in July

A value home décor retailer is opening two new East Coast stores and one new West Coast location during the month of July.

At Home Group Inc. recently opened new stores in Princeton, N.J. and Abingdon, Md. In addition, it will open a new location in Temecula, Calif., by the end of the month. When all three stores are opened, At Home will have a total count of 231 stores across 40 states.

The Plano, Tex.-based retailer resumed a national growth strategy in February 2021, with plans to open 12 to 15 stores across the country during 2021. In May 2021, At Home agreed to be acquired by private-equity firm Hellman & Friedman in an all-cash transaction valued at $2.8 billion, including the assumption of debt.

At Home offers a home décor concept, selling over 50,000 home décor items — from furniture, rugs, wall art and housewares to tabletop, patio and holiday décor — in stores averaging just over 100,000 sq. ft. The company’s new locations will award gift cards to the first 50 customers who register for the At Home Insider Perks loyalty program.
