Hibbett Sports names new field leaders

Hibbett Sports is forming a new field leadership team made up of seven experienced industry executives.

The specialty athletic apparel and footwear retailer is building the field leadership team from promotions, reassigned geographic territories and new hires, along with new strategic initiatives designed for better alignment and growth. Mike Longo, president and CEO, Hibbett Sports and Ben Knighten, senior VP operations, Hibbett Sports, will lead the team.

The team is comprised of seven members made up of six Hibbett Sports regional VPs and one VP of operations for City Gear stores:

  • Schanen Anderson, regional VP, Southeast Region;
  • Robby Bullington, regional VP, Central Region;
  • Joe Fullerton, regional VP, East Region;
  • Russell Hallman, regional VP, Midwest Region;
  • Spencer Holt, regional VP, Western Region;
  • Kandace Turner, regional VP, Southern Region;
  • Derrick Hines, VP, operations, City Gear.

Based in Birmingham, Ala., Hibbett Sports operates nearly 1,100 Hibbett Sports and City Gear stores located in 35 states nationwide.
