A grocery banner of Kroger is encouraging customers to join its subscription-based membership program and order larger deliveries.
Harris Teeter shoppers who purchase an annual or monthly subscription to its ExpressLane loyalty program will receive new member-only incentives and free deliveries for expensive orders. An annual subscription costs $99.95 per year, and customers can also purchase a monthly subscription for $16.95 per month.
The grocery chain will waive the service fee on all ExpressLane orders over $100 and offer a tiered fee structure based on the online order value, with a minimum order of $25. Harris Teeter will charge a $2.95 service fee for orders $99.99 - $50 and a $4.95 service fee for orders $49.99 - $25. On Thursdays from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m., the company will also waive the service fee for senior shoppers aged 60 and older and offer $4.95 delivery during this time.
Annual ExpressLane subscription members will have the $25 minimum order restriction waived, with $4.95 service fee. The $4.95 service fee for order pickup will also be waived. Other new incentives include double fuel points, 5% off the purchase of Harris Teeter brand items, and exclusive discounts and offers.
Meanwhile, monthly ExpressLane subscription members will also have their $25 minimum order restriction and $4.95 pick-up fee waived, along with double fuel points and 5% off the purchase of Harris Teeter brand items.
