Garnet Hill partners for resale marketplace; to offer peer-to-peer reselling
Lifestyle retailer Garnet Hill is celebrating its 50th anniversary with the launch of a resale marketplace.
The new marketplace, dubbed Garnet Hill Second Nature, was built in partnership with Archive, the technology platform powering profitable resale businesses, and Tersus Solutions, whose patented CO₂ technology cleans items through a chemical-free, waterless process. The marketplace launches with a curated assortment of Garnet Hill preowned inventory, including apparel, accessories, quilts and blankets.
The business' first expansion will introduce a peer-to-peer model, giving customers a way to sell preloved Garnet Hill pieces directly from one another through the resale marketplace. Sellers can choose to be paid in cash or receive credit toward a future purchase on GarnetHill.com.
Garnet Hill, which is part of QVC Group, was founded in 1976 as a catalog business. The company is known for responsibly-sourced, crafted products made from natural fibers.
