Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers is continuing to roll out plans for new stores.

The Kansas-based quick-serve chain has inked four separate development deals that will build the brand's presence across Illinois, Iowa, New Jersey and Texas, as well as open its first locations in Washington State. The deals are led by a mix of both current and new Freddy's franchisees, and will add a total of 21 restaurant locations to the franchise system.

New franchisees Imrit Chattrath and Jasdeep Singh (Puget Sound Bites, Inc.) signed a 10-unit deal to bring the first Freddy's restaurant to the Seattle market and Washington State. Franchising veterans Mike and Steven Young (MLY Investments) signed a three-unit deal covering west central Illinois and eastern Iowa, adding to their portfolio of 10 open locations between Iowa and Illinois, with another 15 in development across the Midwest.

New franchisee Peter Labib signed a four-unit deal to bring Freddy’s to northern New Jersey, and new franchisee Frank Fayyaz (ARF Restaurants LLC) also signed a four-unit deal to bring the chain to the Austin market.

The new franchise deals come shortly after Freddy’s announced a 10-unit deal to expand the chain’s presence in South Carolina. With the new agreements, Freddy’s now has more than 150 locations in development with the goal of reaching 800 stores by 2026.

"There's no greater testament to the value of Freddy's franchise opportunity and the unique dining experience we bring guests across the country than the continued investment that our existing franchisees make in the brand," said Andrew Thengvall, chief development officer at Freddy’s. "We are enthusiastic about our future expansion and the chance to introduce Freddy's to more communities with the help of both new and seasoned franchisees."
