Accessories company Fossil Group, Inc. is making two additions to its C-suite.
The company has named Joe Martin as chief commercial officer, effective Feb. 17, and Antonio Carriero as chief digital information officer and general manager of its Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) operations, effective Feb. 12.
Martin will oversee all global revenue-generating activities, focusing on building a scalable, high-performing commercial organization. Before joining Fossil, Martin served as senior VP of wholesale, team services and omni operations and marketplace, North America, at Adidas, spending more than 10 years with the footwear/apparel giant in total. Prior to that, he held sales leadership roles at various companies, including 3M.
“I am thrilled to join an iconic global brand like Fossil,” said Martin. “I look forward to serving our people, our business, and building long-term value for our stakeholders across the globe.”
Carriero will be responsible for overseeing the Fossil Group’s global technology strategy, operations, cybersecurity, and the development of future capabilities. In addition to his global technology leadership, he will lead the commercial business for the company’s EMEA region.
Most recently, Carriero served as chief digital and information officer at footwear brand Salomon, where he worked to enhance IT and digital capabilities with a focus on driving e-commerce revenue. Prior to that, he held senior leadership roles in digital and technology at Breitling SA and Richemont Group, where he helped advance digital strategies and technological innovation.
"Having dedicated much of my career to the watch and jewelry industries, I am excited to join Fossil as chief digital officer and general manager EMEA," said Carriero. "I have a deep connection to this industry and its rich legacy, and I look forward to collaborating with talented teams to accelerate growth, drive meaningful impact, and shape the next chapter of our journey together."
