Former Yeti CFO to join Kendra Scott C-suite

Kendra Scott Design Inc. has founded its next finance chief.

The jewelry and lifestyle retailer has named Mike McMullen as its next CFO, effective April 27. In the role, McMullen will play a “critical role” in building the financial and operational foundation that supports Kendra Scott’s next phase of expansion, which includes plans for 20 new store openings in 2026, according to the company.

McMullen most recently served as the CFO of Yeti Holdings, a role he held for three years. He previously served as VP of finance for the outdoor products brand. During his tenure, Yeti launched a successful IPO and significantly increased its international and direct-to-consumer operations.

"Mike understands how to scale a business driven by a customer-first mission and has experience in driving meaningful transformations," said Kendra Scott CEO Chris Blakeslee, who joined the company from Athleta in January. "With leadership experience shaping and growing household brands, he brings the financial acumen and business-building mindset we need as we expand into new categories and pursue global growth. We're excited for the leadership he will bring as we continue building the House of Kendra Scott."

Prior to joining Yeti in 2016, McMullen spent more than 11 and a half years at Dell Technologies.

Founded in 2002 by fashion designer Kendra Scott, Austin, Texas-based Kendra Scott Design Inc. operates more than 165 namesake experiential stores and pop-up locations. Its products are also available through wholesale partners, including Nordstrom and Dillard's, and at more than 1,000 specialty boutiques.
