Former Inspire Brands exec joins Adaptive Construction Management

Merrill Johnson has been named president of Adaptive Construction Management.

Johnson brings more than 25 years of experience in the restaurant development industry, where he specialized in building quick-service, fast-casual, casual, brew pub and fine-dining restaurants. He was previously with Inspire Brands, where he led all corporate construction across five brands.

Before Inspire, Johnson was both a franchisor and franchisee with brands such as Papa Gino’s Pizzeria, Smith & Wollensky Steakhouse, D’Angelo Grilled Sandwiches, Berkshire grill, Ground Round and Applebee’s.

In addition, Johnson worked as a general contractor in the healthcare sector.
