Former Albertsons’ exec to be top marketer at Medicine Man Technologies
A fast-growing provider of cannabis consulting services, nutrients, and supplies has made a key addition to its senior leadership team.
Medicine Man Technologies named Shane Sampson as chief marketing and merchandising officer. In the newly created role, Sampson will provide strategic direction and manage tactical execution of the company’s marketing, merchandising, brand management, IP licensing programs, digital strategy including e-commerce and retail operations.
Sampson is a longtime Albertsons Cos. executive with more than 35 years of grocery industry experience. Most recently, her served as chief marketing and merchandising officer for Albertsons Cos. (He resigned in August 2019). Prior to this, he held numerous leadership roles at Albertsons Cos., Ahold’s Giant of Landover and Sam’s Club spanning operations, product merchandising and procurement, e-commerce and branding.
