Wilson Sporting Goods Co. is expanding its store count by opening a new location at America’s largest shopping mall.

The new 2,600-sq.-ft. store at the Mall of America will offer shoppers products including the official basketballs of the NBA and WNBA, leading tennis rackets and accessories, as well as other Wilson products and sportswear apparel for men and women.

The store will also feature Wilson’s racket stringing and “Equipment Room,” where shoppers can rent select products to play-test on their own before purchasing. Customers will be able to use the program for sporting goods needs across tennis, pickleball, padel and more. Rental fees range from $5-$10 per day based on product, and all rental fees will be taken off the final price if purchased.

The Mall of America store is Wilson’s first entry into Minnesota and eighth location overall. Earlier this year, Wilson opened its first store on the West Coast, at the Third Street Promenade in Santa Monica, Calif. Wilson’s other retail locations include three stores in New York City, one in Chicago, one in Houston and one in Central Valley, N.Y.

“We’re incredibly excited about Wilson’s expansion into such an iconic location like Mall of America. The local communities around Minnesota have such a strong connection to sports and Wilson is proud to bring a dynamic retail space to the Twin Cities,” said Gordon Devin, president & general manager of softgoods & retail at Wilson. “Each of our retail locations are an in-person expression of our brand, and our storefront in the Mall of America is no different. This store exemplifies Wilson’s continued commitment to engaging the communities in which we live and evolve through our continued commitment to sport.”

Based in Chicago, Wilson Sporting Goods Co. is a subsidiary of Amer Sports Corporation, a leading manufacturer of high-performance sports equipment, apparel and accessories.
