First Look: Fashion retailer Revolve expands in brick and mortar
Millennial and Gen Z favorite Revolve Group is entering its next chapter as its expands into physical retail.
The digitally native global fashion retailer has opened a 8,450-sq.-ft., two-level store at The Grove, an outdoor retail and entertainment center next to the historic Original Farmers Market in Los Angeles. It's Revolve Group's second permanent location, with the first opening in June 2024, in downtown Aspen, Colo.
The architecturally driven space at The Grove was designed by Montalba Architects. With a streamlined, minimalist look, the store features open, flexible floor areas that support evolving merchandising needs. A sculptural spiral staircase serves as the centerpiece of the floor plan, creating a visual connection between levels.
Revolve Group sells merchandise through two segments — Revolve and Fwrd — that span apparel, beauty, men’s, accessories, footwear and home, and leverage one platform. The main floor showcases the Revolve brand, with a curated selection of emerging, established and owned brands.
The second level is designed as an intimate in-store boutique that immerses shoppers in the Fwrd luxury environment offering coveted designer collections. Customers can also shop an expansive selection of Fwrd Renew authenticated pre-owned luxury handbags.
The new store also reflects Revolve Group's focus on expanding its men's business with a dedicated edit featuring apparel, footwear, and lifestyle essentials. With regard to the expanding business, Revolve said it is filling a gap in the market and embracing the growing demand from male consumers in luxury and contemporary fashion.
