Toys "R" Us is said to be considering a big reduction in its store portfolio.
Bloomberg reported that the retailer is considering closing at least 100 U.S. stores in the wake of weak holiday sales. Toys "R" Us filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in September.
“Final decisions about our real estate portfolio will be done only after careful consideration about the best interests of our business,” said spokeswoman Amy von Walter in the report.
