American Dream has partnered with NY Waterway to provide ferry and bus service from Manhattan to its 3 million-sq.-ft. property.
NY Waterway’s free multi-route shuttle buses will take guests to the West 39th Street Midtown Ferry Terminal for an eight-minute ferry ride across the Hudson River to Port Imperial in Weehawken, N.J. Ferry tickets will cost $16 each way.
At Port Imperial in New Jersey, buses will take riders to the megamall.
NY Waterway ferries depart West 39th Street for Port Imperial Weehawken every 10 minutes during morning and evening rush hour, and every 20 minutes during off-peak hours. Dedicated bus service to American Dream will operate every 20 minutes on Saturday and Sunday, with frequent service during the week. Bus-only service from Port Imperial to American Dream is also available for $7.
Tickets will be available for purchase at nywaterway.com/AmericanDream with service beginning on Oct. 25 - the same day American Dream has its grand opening.
Guests can check out Nickelodeon Universe Theme Park and The Rink at American Dream - an NHL-regulation size ice rink - on opening day, while the debut of over 350 retailers and more than 100 dining destinations will not be until March 2020. However, DreamWorks Water Park opens on Nov. 27, and Big SNOW -an indoor real-snow park- will open on Dec. 5.
