Davis Oil Co
Majors Management has acquired Davis Oil Co.’s 21 c-stores.

Majors Management is expanding its footprint via an acquisition.

The retailer has acquired Davis Oil Co., which owns and operates 21 convenience stores across West Michigan and supplies fuels to 11 commission marketers. The acquisition marks Majors' first entry into the state of Michigan

Majors has been steadily expanding its portfolio — in the last three years, the company has completed eighteen acquisitions across 14 states. The Davis Oil deal comes on the heels of Majors’ acquisition of Maritime Farms convenience stores. With 13 locations with full delis located in Midcoast Maine, the acquisition represented Majors' first entry into the state of Maine.

Established in 1966 as a small fuel oil delivery service, Davis Oil Co. is based in Battle Creek, Mich.  The family-owned company is one of the largest Marathon jobbers in Michigan.

“We are thrilled to transition the employees and customers of Davis Oil to the Majors’ family,” said Ben Smith, president of Majors Management. “After five successful acquisitions in 2023 and 18 transactions in just over three years, Majors now operates in 19 states.”

NRC Realty & Capital Advisors LLC served as financial advisor to Davis Oil on the sale.

“The whole Davis family couldn’t be more excited about passing on our family’s legacy to Majors Management,” said Jon Davis, CEO of Davis Oil Co. “They are an upstanding group to say the least.”
